ADVERTISEMENTS Two people were injured after a dump truck crashed into a Jeepney along Mc Arthur Highway near La Maja Rica Hotel at Brgy. (Village) Ligtasan, Tarlac City. Motorists and residents tried to pull the truck away while waiting for rescuers, who arrived after a few minutes. Tarlac City  Search and Rescue personnel used hydraulic equipment to pull the victims out of the truck. The victims had yet to be identified as of this writing. According to investigators, the driver might have been speeding, which caused him to lose control of the truck. The victims were brought to Tarlac Provincial Hospital. ADVERTISEMENTS

ADVERTISEMENTS A 13-year-old girl was dead after she fall from burning hardware building in San Nicolas Poblacion, Concepcion, Tarlac last evening. Identified the fatality as Nicole Ong. Nicole, was rushed to the Atanacio Hospital after she fell and sustaining injuries from the blaze but she was confirmed dead. Initial investigation showed the fire started at 11:25 p.m. and reached the third alarmand it was not out yet. Authorities said the blaze was caused by Paint, Gas, and Rubbers. According to the rescuer, Nicole was last seen at the third floor of the building. Authorities, meanwhile, have yet to determine the cost of damage caused by the blaze. ADVERTISEMENTS Firefighters battled a blaze that struck a hardware store near EZ Mart in Concepcion, Tarlac. The fire alert was raised to third alarm before it was put out around 11:25 pm Wednesday March 8, 2017, according to authorities. The razed Marson Hardware Store is located around 200 meters from the Concepcion Public Market.
